Getting started with the onboarding task list
Getting started in a new platform can feel overwhelming, so we've made it easy to know what to do first. That’s where the onboarding task list comes in.
You’ll find it right on your home screen under Getting ready. It’s a simple checklist that helps you complete all the essential steps to get your first survey up and running, helping you become self-sufficient right away.
What is the task list?
The task list is a built-in guide that supports new users as they get started in the platform. It includes all the key steps needed to prepare, launch, and follow up on your first survey. You can track your progress as you go, and easily return to tasks later.
Once a step is started by anyone in your organization, it’s marked as done. So don’t worry if the whole task isn’t 100% completed yet: this list is here to guide, not to check boxes.
What tasks are included?
The checklist covers the full survey journey:

Invite other admins: Easily invite other coordinators straight from the task list.

Assign tasks to your IT team: Share our technical requirements with your IT so the technical setup is done right from the start.

Add your employees: Start importing your employee data and creating your reporting structures.

Set up a project for your surveys: Create and configure your first project in just a few clicks.

Create a survey: Launch your first survey directly from the task list.

Track survey progress: See how your survey is doing and stay on top of response rates.
Who sees the task list?

New users: If you're just getting started, the task list helps you navigate the platform with confidence.

Existing users: You’ll see the task list too. If you’ve already run a survey, all tasks will be marked as done, but you can still use it for guidance whenever you need a quick refresher or want to help someone else get started.
