What types of survey invitations are available?

As the coordinator of a survey, it’s important to know how participants get access to their personal questionnaire. There are two main delivery methods depending on whether participants have an email address.

E-mail invitation

  • Participants with an email address will receive their invitation directly by email.

  • The email contains a personal, unique link that gives them direct access to their own questionnaire.

  • No additional login code is needed.

Printable invitation with QR code (for participants with email)

For participants who do not have an email address, you can generate printable invitations.

Each invitation contains:

  • The participant’s name,

  • A personal login code,

  • A unique personal QR code that leads directly to their questionnaire.

Participants can either scan the QR code or manually enter their login code to access the survey.

 

Important to Know

  • It is not possible to provide one general QR code for all participants. Each invitation must be unique, since every participant needs their own code to access their survey.

  • Printable invitations are generated before the survey begins. If participant data changes after they have been created, you may need to regenerate the invitations to ensure accuracy.
