Results: Understanding Engagement

Engagement is a key HR theme. Engagement is the degree to which employees are inspired and energized by their work. It also refers to their positive connection to the organization. Engaged employees experience their work as meaningful and rewarding, are proud of their jobs, and feel that they fit in at the organization. They can go the extra mile because they love what they do and where they work. The engagement score will show the level of enthusiasm employees have about their work and how connected they feel to the organization.

Where to find Engagement in the results dashboard

Effectory provides two types of Engagement scores:

  1. The Engagement Theme Score
    • Shown on the  Overview and Themes tabs in the dashboard.
    • Displayed for the team you are currently reviewing.
  2. The Number of Engaged, Potential, and Disengaged Employees
    • Visible on the Overview and Themes tabs.
    • Click on the Engaged tile to open a panel on the right.
    • This panel shows the percentage of participants who are:
      • Engaged
      • Potentials (on their way to becoming engaged)
      • Disengaged

How it is calculated

The Engagement theme is measured through a set of specific survey questions to measure your employees level of engagement.
