Configure benchmarks in your project
This article explains how to select and manage benchmarks in your settings during project setup. For an introduction to what benchmarks are and how they work, you can read the general article on understanding benchmarks.
How to configure benchmarks
- Open your project and go to the Settings tab.
- Find the External benchmarks section and open it.
- Choose a primary benchmark. Options depend on your subscription and can include the Effectory Index, industry, country, composed benchmarks, or Global Employee Engagement Index.
Note: A composed benchmark is an additional service that requires time to create together with your Customer Success Manager
- If your plan supports this, you may choose to add a secondary benchmark by clicking + Add. This will enable you to display an extra comparison in Your Feedback and the results dashboard.
- Save your selection.
Important: Both benchmarks are set up per project and can be changed at any time.
Where benchmarks appear
Your chosen benchmarks are shown throughout your results:
- in the results dashboard (overview, themes, and scores)
- in Your Feedback
- in reports
This helps you place your results into context, whether you're comparing with your own previous surveys or external organizations.
