Adding or removing participants from a running survey

You can now add or remove participants from a survey that is already running. This can be done directly on the Survey page. 

Please remember that:

  • You can only add participants to existing groups. It’s not possible to add a completely new group, as the survey structure is frozen once it starts. 
  • If you remove a participant who has already responded, their responses will be permanently deleted. 
  • Participants without an email address will not receive an invitation email, instead you can download a hardcopy invitation in My Effectory. 
  • An automatic email notification for removed participants is not (yet) available. This is planned however for a future release.

 

How does it work?

Adding participants 

  1. Go to the Survey page 
  2. Click View details next to the Participants section A screenshot of a computer

After adding:

  • Participants with an email address will receive their invitation email shortly after being added.
  • If any participants do not have an email address, a pop-up will notify you. You can choose to:
    • Add and Download invitations immediately, or
    • Download later in My Effectory 

 

Removing participants 

  1. Go to the Survey page
  2. Click Details
  3. Click on the number of participants in the group A screenshot of a computer

  5. Confirm by clicking on Remove A screenshot of a computer

Remember that the responses from removed participants will also be deleted.
