You can now send a preview of your survey invitation or reminder emails directly from My Effectory. This makes it easy to check how your message looks, verify merge fields, and test if your whitelisting is set up correctly.
Why use this feature
Sending yourself a preview email helps you:

See exactly what the invitation or reminder will look like for participants

Check if merge fields are filled in correctly

Test if emails arrive in your inbox (to confirm whitelisting works)
How to send a preview email

Open your survey in My Effectory. -
Scroll down to Survey settings, find the Design section, and click Email on the right.

Select whether you want to preview the invitation or the reminder.

If needed, you can also edit the email here.

Click Send test email, then:

Enter the email address that should receive the preview.

Select the language (from the languages available in the project).

Finally, click Send.
You’ll receive the preview email in your inbox, with merge fields filled in as they would be for a real participant.
Things to know

This option is only available for planned surveys. Draft surveys don’t have this functionality.

You can send previews for invitations and reminders only.

The questionnaire button in the preview email is not functional.

The email address you fill in is the one that will receive the preview. If the address belongs to a survey participant, the preview will contain their details. If not, it will show details from a random participant.
