Edit or unplan a planned survey
Sometimes you may need to update the details of a planned survey or remove the scheduled start date so you can make changes later. You can do this quickly from the survey overview.
Editing options for a planned survey
In the navigation sidebar, go to Surveys > All surveys and find your survey in the list. Click the three dots on the right-hand side to open the menu. The options you see depend on the survey status (Draft, Planned, Running, or Completed).
For a planned survey, the available options are:

Edit: adjust the survey period, participants, questions, or design.

Change name: rename the survey to keep your overview clear.

Manage result access: decide who can access survey results if this differs from the project-level configuration. Read more here.

Unplan: revert the survey to draft status. All selections (participants, questions, design) remain saved, but the start date is removed so you can reschedule later.

Delete: permanently remove the survey.
Note: You can also access your survey through Surveys > Projects. Open the project that contains it and select the survey. On the survey page, you’ll see the same options either in the relevant sections or via the three dots in the top-right corner.
Who can edit a planned survey
Whether you can see and edit a planned survey depends on your role and access rights in My Effectory. Some options may only be available to the survey creator, or to Central and Project Coordinators. If you believe you should have access to a certain survey or feature but don’t see it, reach out to your internal contact person for support.
