At Effectory, we take confidentiality seriously. We understand that participant data is sensitive and must be handled with care. Our commitment to privacy ensures that participants can trust us with their feedback, allowing us to provide valuable insights to organizations while safeguarding individual identities.


Key principles

Striking the right balance between transparency and privacy is essential. Our approach is based on three key principles:

  • Anonymity: We guarantee that responses are anonymous. Participants can freely share their opinions without fear of repercussions. We do not disclose individual responses to anyone, including employers.
  • Average scores: We aggregate responses to provide overall insights. Reports focus on trends, patterns, and average group scores. Individual responses are never linked to specific participants.
  • Data security: Our robust security measures protect participant data. We use encryption, role-based access, and secure servers to prevent unauthorized access. Find out more about our approach to data security here!

In addition, taking part in Effectory surveys is entirely optional, and respondents have the freedom to skip any question.

  • Ethical responsibility: As custodians of participant data, we have an ethical responsibility to protect their privacy. Our commitment extends beyond legal requirements—we prioritize confidentiality because it’s the right thing to do.

Did you know? My Effectory prevents uploading sensitive personal data. If a user attempts to upload information about religious beliefs, ethnicity, and more, the platform promptly issues a warning. This way, customers are guided to only process appropriate data in employee surveys!
