At Effectory, we understand that our customers and platform users trust us with their sensitive data, and we are committed to ensuring that this data is kept safe and secure. To this end, we have implemented various security measures to protect our customers' data. The ones outlined below offer a glimpse into our extensive security practices.

Fully GDPR compliant

We fully comply with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), the European Union's data protection law. This means that we have implemented the necessary controls to ensure our customers' data's confidentiality, integrity, and availability. Our customers' data is stored in secure data centers located in the European Economic Area.

Fully ISO certified

We are certified to the ISO 27001 and 27701 standards, which are internationally recognized standards for information security and privacy management. These certifications demonstrate that we have implemented the necessary controls to ensure the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of our customers' data.

Additionally, since April 2023, we have been among the first European organizations to transition to the ISO 27001:2022 standard successfully, the most significant update in information security from ISO since 2013. This step is a testament to our continued commitment to modern security standards.

Accessibility and safety

We use role-based access controls to ensure only authorized users can access our customers' data. We also use secure authentication measures to ensure only authorized users can access our platform. To this end, we advise all our customers to use Single Sign-On (SSO) or Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) to access our platform, and we provide technical support to make this possible and ensure that our customers can access their data securely.

Our people care!

We ensure that all our employees know their role in keeping your data secure.
Each new employee at Effectory gets the same basic introduction to information security and a 1-on-1 meeting with the chief information security officer.

All employees must pass a mandatory annual assessment on information security and privacy awareness, and we help colleagues get up to speed on the aspects and details they need to revise.

In addition, specific roles that are more likely to deal with confidential information (e.g., Customer Success Managers, our Helpdesk, and Software Developers) get special instructions so that they can be diligent when working with sensitive information.
