Why a high response rate matters
The higher your response rate, the more representative your results will be. Every additional response gives you more valuable insights to drive meaningful improvements in your organization.
Low response rate? How to increase your response rate
Here are three strategies to boost participation:
-
Highlight confidentiality
Employees may hesitate to respond if they fear their feedback isn’t confidential. Reassure them by emphasizing that the survey is conducted by an independent agency—Effectory. Share our confidentiality statement during meetings and via email to reinforce this message.
-
Communicate survey goals
Employees may not respond if they feel their input won’t lead to change. Clearly communicate the survey’s goals and explain how their feedback will guide organizational improvements. Keep them informed about how the results will be used at both the team and organizational levels.
-
Provide Time During Work Hours
Encourage participation by allowing employees to complete the survey during work hours. Let them know how many questions there are and the time it typically takes to finish, so they know what to expect.
