FAQ: Answering a survey

  • Do I have to answer all questions?
No, it is not obligatory to answer all the questions. If you do not have an answer to the question or do not wish to fill in the question, you can either select the option "Don’t Know/ No experience" or leave the question unanswered.
  • Can I give multiple answers to a question?
For closed questions: No. You can only give multiple answers when it is specifically indicated that you can do so.
For open questions: Yes, you can use the space in the box to give any number of answers to the question.
  • Can my employer see my answers?
Yes, but your employer cannot trace your answers back to you. Read more about it in this article: Who sees your answers?
  • Can I change my answer(s) to the questionnaire after sending it to Effectory?
Yes, if the survey period is still running and with help from our helpdesk.
  • Can I change the language of the questionnaire?
Yes, read more about it in this article: Fill in questionnaire in another language?
  • Can I close my questionnaire and finish it later?
The questionnaire saves your answers automatically. If you want to continue filling in your questionnaire later, open it again by clicking your personal link in the invitation e-mail to continue.
Note: Automatic saving is not the same as submitting it. We cannot process a questionnaire that has only been automatically saved and not actively submitted. Therefore, make sure to Submit your questionnaire once you are done filling it out.
  • How do I know my questionnaire has been successfully submitted?
If you can still give answers, your questionnaire is not submitted yet. Click Submit at the end of the page.
If you cannot give answers and see this notification, your questionnaire is successfully submitted:
