Language settings

The languages you select in the project settings are the languages that are available for your survey invitation mails, the surveys, and the results in My Feedback. You can select your preferred languages from our platform's list of 36 available languages.

Primary vs. additional languages

Your primary language is the default language within your project. It is the language that is displayed by default for:

  • survey-related mail (e.g., the invitation mail)
  • the surveys and
  • the results in My Feedback

Additional languages are also available for your survey-related emails, the surveys, and the results in My Feedback.

Note: The primary language can only be set once. Additional languages can be adjusted at any time.

How does My Effectory select the correct language for each participant?

My Effectory selects the correct language for each employee based on the country code specified in the employee data.

  • When a language is specified in the employee data file and that language is added to the project settings, the invitation mails, surveys and My feedback results will be configured to that specific language to that specific employee.
  • When no language is specified in the employee data file or the language is not selected in the project settings, My Effectory will, by default, use the primary language you have set for your project.

Do you want to add additional languages?

The number of languages you can add to your project depends on your subscription plan. To see the number of languages available, go to the project settings page.
