Importing your employee data into My Effectory

Starting point You've already collected and prepared your employee data. What now? You need to upload your employee data file into My Effectory for the first time. This guide will take you through the process of uploading and will ensure a smooth setup process for effective listening.


Let's get started!

  1. Log into your My Effectory account.
  2. Navigate to the Employees tab.
  3. Go through the onboarding module and click on Start importing employees.
  4. Click on Upload file or drag & drop your file into the browser window.
  5. Choose a non-encrypted file in one of the following formats: .XLS, .XLSX, or .CSV UTF-8 with proper column headers.

    Consider using .CSV UTF-8 files, as they do not store formatting information and can help avoid formatting issues during the upload.
  6. Wait for the upload to complete.
    > Upon completion, you will be directed to the column-matching screen.
